Minnesota hires Hansen, will be women’s hockey media contact

Mandy Hansen has been named Minnesota’s assistant director of athletic communications and will serve as the primary media contact for women’s hockey. Hansen brings more than eight years of communications experience to the department, including serving as the media liaison for the 2011 NCAA women’s hockey championship team at Wisconsin.

Colgate’s all-time leading scorer Mike Harder has been hired by the team as a volunteer assistant coach. Harder tallied 88 goals and 126 assists for 214 points and also enjoyed a 13-year pro playing career. He coached last season with I Play Harder (IPH) Hockey.
