Heading into the final game of the regular season, the No. 8 Hamline Pipers will need a strong showing in the MIAC tournament to make a return to the NCAA tournament and have a shot at a third-straight Frozen Four appearance.

Currently riding an 11-0-2 streak, No. 4 Elmira is readying for a tough test this weekend against No. 1 Plattsburgh, followed by two tough league games that could be important in the regular season UCHC title race.
Several top teams, including No. 1 Plattsburgh and No. 2 Middlebury, had a scare, escaping with one-goal wins, while No. 5 Hamline was surprised by Saint Mary’s in the second of a two-game set, settling for a tie. Oswego continued its strong play with a sweep of two UCHC foes.
Norwich looks to stay in front in the NEHC, Plattsburgh looks to roll through another NEWHL opponent, and Nazareth looks to build some more momentum before the final push for the UCHC playoffs.
