
With 45 first-place votes, Michigan State is again the top team in the USCHO.com Division I Men’s Hockey Poll.
Michigan moves up one spot to No. 2, also receiving two first-place votes, while Western Michigan is down one spot, picking up a single first-place vote. Penn State moves up one notch to No. 4 with the last two first-place votes.
Boston University falls one spot to No. 5 in this week’s rankings.

Denver is up one to No. 6, Quinnipiac is down one to No. 7, North Dakota stays eighth, Connecticut is up two to No. 9, and Minnesota Duluth jumps up eight spots to No. 10.
Boston College falls out of the top 10, going from No. 9 to No. 11, and Maine also drops out of the top 10, falling from No. 10 to No. 12.
No new teams enter the rankings this week.
In addition to the top 20 teams, 14 others received votes in this week’s poll.
The USCHO.com Division I Men’s Hockey Poll is compiled weekly and consists of 50 voters, including coaches and media professionals from across the country. Media outlets may republish this poll as long as USCHO.com is credited.
