Hockey East announced Tuesday that Massachusetts senior forward Jake Gaudet has been suspended for one game stemming from an incident at the 35-second mark of the third period on Monday, January 18 at Boston University.
On the play, Gaudet was whistled for a contact to the head major penalty and a game misconduct.
Gaudet will miss the game on Friday, January 22 against Providence and will be eligible to return to the Minutemen lineup on Saturday, January 23 against the Friars.
