Longtime Denver supporter Harold Beier has passed away at the age of 91 after more than 50 years of contributions to the Pioneers hockey program.
Since the 1960s, Beier was a billet for student-athletes, archivist for the DU Hockey Alumni Association and contributor to the Beier Family Endowed Hockey Scholarship.
In 2006, Beier was installed to the DU Athletic Hall of Fame as a special inductee for his selfless contributions to the hockey program and dedication to preserving its rich history.
