MANKATO, Minn. — The Mavericks were dominant for 2 straight nights in the sweep of the nanooks, winning 6-2 in a 14-goal weekend. Tyler Munson put the Nanooks on the board with an early powerplay goal less than a minute into the period. Unfortunately for the Nanooks, that would be the end of their lead in this game because it was all Mavericks the rest of the way with goals coming from 6 different players. Zeb Knutson and Daniel Brickley both had 2 pt nights in the win. Zach Frye finally stopped the bleeding with a powerplay goal too little too late in the third period. The Mavericks outshot the Nanooks 39-24 and will stay at home next weekend in the Wcha semi-finals.
