
Hockey Canada has announced the 23-player roster that has been nominated to represent Team Canada at the 2018 Olympic Winter Games, which will be held Feb. 9-25 in PyeongChang, South Korea.
Canada’s roster includes a slew of former NCAA players and one current NCAA standout in Wisconsin senior forward Emily Clark.

“It was an extremely difficult decision narrowing down our roster due to the depth of talent on our team; we are excited to move forward with the 23 players chosen to represent Canada at the 2018 Olympic Winter Games,” said Team Canada coach Laura Schuler in a statement. “These players have worked hard to earn this moment and we are confident that they will be able to inspire and unite our country as they set their sights on a fifth straight gold medal for Canada.”
Canada starts play on Sunday, Feb. 11, against Russia at the Kwandong Hockey Centre.
