Connecticut upset second seed Providence and Maine rallied from three down in the third game against Boston University to advance to the Hockey East semifinals. In the WCHA, Bemidji State upset Minnesota Duluth, while elsewhere the favorites all advanced. Robert Morris also won the CHA regular season crown.
The women’s WCHA announced Friday its 2017-18 All-WCHA Teams Showcasing the league’s impressive group of underclassmen, freshmen and sophomores account for five of six All-WCHA First Team selections, and nine of 18 spots overall (photo: Don Adams Jr.).
Three teams are in contention for the CHA regular season crown in the final weekend of the season, and all three are looking to play it one game at a time. In the WCHA, Ohio State is looking to find consistency to go with the highs of beating Wisconsin and Minnesota.
