ROCHESTER, N.Y. — Max French’s second goal of the game gave Bentley a 3-2 overtime victory over Rochester Institute of Technology on Friday.
French scored with 31 seconds left in the extra session for the Falcons (4-3-1, 2-2-1 Atlantic Hockey), who were outshot 58-29 by the Tigers (3-5-2, 3-1-1).
Bentley’s Gabe Antoni stopped all 13 shots he faced in the third period and overtime after taking over from starter Jayson Argue, who made 43 saves through 40 minutes. Argue, however, left the game with an injury.
The 58 shots on goal was a Division I-era record for RIT.
Mike Rotolo made 26 saves for the Tigers, who got two goals from Brady Norrish.
