Michael Colavecchia scored twice and added an assist, and Rochester Institute of Technology held off a third-period Holy Cross comeback for a 6-5 victory on Saturday.
Mark Cornacchia, Matt Garbowsky, Adam Hartley and Adam Mitchell also scored for the Tigers (5-3-2, 4-2-2 Atlantic Hockey), who took a 6-2 lead 3:21 into the third period.
But Mike Daly, Brendan Baker and Matthew Davis scored in a five-minute span to bring the Crusaders (4-6, 3-4) within a goal at 6-5.
RIT managed to hold on despite being outshot 12-4 in the third period and 38-27 for the game.
