Kyle Doyle scored a power-play goal midway through the third period to give the Colgate Raiders a 3-2 victory against the Dartmouth Big Green Friday night at Starr Rink.
Doyle picked up a loose puck in front of the Big Green net and wristed a shot past goaltender Dan Yacey at the 10:15 mark.
Dartmouth (7-7-1, 4-3-0 ECAC) built itself a 2-0 first period lead as Lee Stempniak and Mike Maturo scored goals in a period dominated by the Big Green.
Stempniak took a Jamie Herrington feed from the corner and snapped a shot through the legs of Raiders goalie David Cann. Pete Summerfelt, who returned to the lineup after missing the last game with an ankle injury, also picked up an assist.
Maturo netted his team-leading 10th goal of the season, chipping a puck into the open goal after Chris Baldwin wrestled a puck from behind the net away from Cann.
Colgate (5-11-0, 3-4-0 ECAC) stormed back in the second period as Paul Kelley and Brad D’Arco each netted their second goals of the season in the middle stanza. Rob Brown picked up assists on each Raider goal.
Yacey finished the game with 21 saves while Cann made 23 stops for Colgate.
