The NCHC announced its preseason all-conference team on Wednesday, with North Dakota junior goaltender Zane McIntyre garnering 25 votes as the only unanimous selection. Local media members from each NCHC school and select national media picked the team.
Mercyhurst, which won the Atlantic Hockey regular-season championship in 2013-14, has been picked to once again finish atop the standings after the conference released the results of the preseason coaches’ poll on Wednesday. The Lakers took home six first-place votes in the balloting.
