Upset weekend

It was a weekend of upsets as No. 2 Boston College, No. 5 Minnesota, and No. 7 Providence all lost, while No. 8 Ohio State swept No. 9 Robert Morris.

Big upsets

Augsburg continues to rally and return to early-season form, recording a huge win over No. 3 Wisconsin-Stevens Point, while Babson and Massachusetts Boston upset Hobart.

Frigid Friday: B1G favorites fall

Upsets were the rule on Friday, especially in the Big Ten, where Michigan State beat No. 18 Wisconsin, No. 15 Penn State upended No. 6 Ohio State, and Michigan beat No. 9 Minnesota. Women’s D-I picks: Jan. 12
