Three of the four home teams advanced, though Clarkson needed overtime to get past a tough Mercyhurst squad. Ohio State proved the lone minor upset, blanking Boston College on the road. Ohio State will face Clarkson, and Colgate will face Wisconsin.
Hamline, Elmira, Norwich, and four-time defending national champion Plattsburgh advanced to next weekend’s Frozen Four, which will be hosted by top seed Norwich. Norwich will face Hamline, and Plattsburgh will face Elmira.
