Wisconsin-bound Turcotte leads list of 71 collegiate players selected in 2019 NHL Draft

Wisconsin commit Alex Turcotte from the USA Hockey National Team Development Program was the first player with college ties selected in the 2019 NHL Draft. A total of 71 college commits representing 26 schools were selected over the two days, the most since 2007.
