The Hockey Commissioners Association announced Thursday its men’s national players of the month for January.
Due to a continued combination of positive COVID-19 tests, contact tracing and subsequent quarantining of individuals within the Colorado College hockey program, the NCHC has announced an adjusted schedule for West Division teams for the first two weekends of February.

Based on previously announced and new impacts related to COVID-19 among NCHC programs, the conference announced Wednesday multiple schedule changes for the next two weekends, including date adjustments to three series this weekend.

The changes were necessary due to a positive COVID-19 test and quarantine requirements for the entire Colorado College team, forcing the Tigers to delay the start of their season. After hoisting the Penrose Cup as NCHC regular-season champions in 2019-20, North Dakota has been selected to do the same in 2020-21, as the Fighting Hawks topped the 2020 NCHC preseason media poll released Monday.
