The Wolverines’ quest for their first NCAA title since 1998 will continue in Boston despite seeing a four-goal lead narrowed to one by the Bobcats.
The Wolverines are into their 26th Frozen Four despite nearly losing a four-goal lead in the third period against the Bobcats.
The Bobcats allowed more than three goals for the first time this season and were outshot 34-16 but advanced to face Michigan for a spot in the Frozen Four.
All 16 teams in the field were on the final line of at least one bracket in the contest.
