The NCHC announced Monday its all-rookie team and all-conference teams for the 2020-21 season.
Former Minnesota Duluth forward Mark Pavelich, also a member of the “Miracle on Ice” 1980 U.S. Olympic hockey team, died Thursday morning.
He was 63.

The Hobey Baker Memorial Award Foundation announced Tuesday its 2021 Legend of College Hockey recipient as Mike Sertich from Minnesota Duluth. Sertich’s run with the Bulldogs spanned 25 years beginning in 1975 and culminated in 2000. Due to a continued combination of positive COVID-19 tests, contact tracing and subsequent quarantining of individuals within the Colorado College hockey program, the NCHC has announced an adjusted schedule for West Division teams for the first two weekends of February.

Due to COVID-19 contact tracing and subsequent quarantining of individuals within the Minnesota Duluth hockey program, the Western Michigan at Minnesota Duluth series scheduled for this Friday and Saturday, Jan. 22-23, has been delayed one day and will now take place Saturday and Sunday, Jan. 23-24 at AMSOIL Arena in Duluth.
Based on previously announced and new impacts related to COVID-19 among NCHC programs, the conference announced Wednesday multiple schedule changes for the next two weekends, including date adjustments to three series this weekend.
