Union has announced the addition of John Ronan as a volunteer assistant coach. Ronan played at Maine from 2001-05.
Canisius adds Walsh to staff
Tyler Walsh has joined Canisius as director of hockey operations after spending the last three seasons as Maine’s student assistant coach and video coordinator. Walsh is the son of former Maine coach Shawn Walsh and the grandson of former Lake Superior State, Bowling Green and Michigan State coach Ron Mason.
U.S. men’s Olympic camp roster heavy on former college players
More than two-thirds of the players selected for the camp that will help select the 2014 U.S. men’s Olympic team come from college hockey roots. Ice Breaker headed to Notre Dame in 2014, Maine in 2015
College Hockey Inc. will stage the season-opening Ice Breaker Tournament at Notre Dame in 2014 and in Portland, Maine, in 2015.
