Former Boston College defenseman Patrick Wey has retired at age 24 because of concussion issues, The Patriot-News reported. Wey, who won national championships with the Eagles in 2010 and 2012, had his only two professional seasons cut short by head injuries.
Michigan had the most with six; Boston College, Boston University, Minnesota, North Dakota and Wisconsin had four each.
