Bowdoin selected to host 2014 D-III men’s semifinals and championship

Bowdoin will host the 2014 Division III men’s semifinals and championship game at the Androscoggin Bank Colisée in Lewiston, Maine, on March 21-22, 2014. The NCHA announced Thursday that Wisconsin-Eau Claire senior goaltender Brandon Stephenson has been named the 2012-13 player of the year and UW-Eau Claire’s Matt Loen is the league’s coach of the year. ECAC appoints Bamford, Layton

The ECAC administrative committee has announced that Steve Bamford has been named interim commissioner and Ben Layton has been promoted to assistant commissioner for programs and services. Part of Layton’s responsibilities will be to oversee the ECAC Division III hockey leagues.
