Tech goalie also serves his country

Michigan Tech senior goaltender Matt Messina served a three-month tour in Afghanistan with the Minnesota Air National Guard. As part of an F-16 crew, the Duluth native worked avionics (communications, navigation, weapon delivery and flight controls).
