Hockey East announced Friday a schedule update for two women’s teams. The series between Vermont and Holy Cross, previously scheduled for Jan. 13-14, has been rescheduled for Monday and Tuesday, Jan. 17-18. Both games will begin at 1 p.m. at Holy Cross.
The Jan. 14 WIAC women’s hockey game between UW-River Falls and UW-Stevens Point has been canceled due to COVID-19 protocols. Per WIAC COVID-19 procedures, the game is deemed a “no contest.” The game will not count towards the overall win-loss record of either team or for NCAA selection purposes. Due to COVID-19 concerns and safety protocols within the Yale men’s hockey program, Cornell’s game against the Bulldogs scheduled for Friday, Jan. 14 has been postponed.
