The Pioneers had to rebound in the second half, and their comfort level with that helped them rebound from a mediocre NCHC tournament finish.
Plattsburgh and Adrian led the All-USCHO D-III Women’s teams with six and four selections. A total of 13 schools were represented on the four teams.

The group graduating at schools this spring includes three Patty Kazmaier Award winners, Olympic stars, and players who elevated their programs to national prominence and helped them set records. Gabbi Riggi reports.
He guided to the Cardinals to an almost perfect season, with only one loss, capped by a fourth consecutive ECAC West Conference Tournament title and a third straight NCAA championship. Plattsburgh coach Kevin Houle is USCHO’s Women’s D-III coach of the year.
She’s led every goaltending category in the country, while helping lead Plattsburgh to its third straight national title. Camille Leonard is USCHO’s D-III Women’s Player of the Year.
Facing BC’s top offense, Minnesota knew if needed defense from not just its goalies and defensemen, but the forwards as well for a complete team win.
The Minnesota Golden Gophers stayed golden Sunday afternoon, taking their fourth national title in fifth years, winning 3-1 against the Boston College Eagles.
