No. 2 Michigan State hockey bounced back on Saturday night, earning a series split with a 2-1 victory at New Hampshire.
“I give (UNH) a ton of credit,” Michigan State coach Adam Nightingale said. “They checked, it was a rock fight, and you had to play real hockey. I thought (Friday) night we didn’t support the puck well enough, played a little bit perimeter, and some of that’s them doing a great job of pushing us to the outside. I thought we were much better tonight.”
