Bridgeport’s Total Mortgage Arena is undergoing renovations making its ability to host unfeasible. The NCAA worked with the local host Sacred Heart and arena management to move the games to Hartford.
Selections for the 2027 NCAA D-I men’s hockey tournament are scheduled for March 21. Other regional sites include Fargo, N.D., Loveland, Colo., and Springfield, Mass. The 2027 men’s Frozen Four will be held at Capital One Arena in Washington D.C., April 8-10.
