Coaches and fans alike will be watching intently for the next 15 days as the D-I men’s ice hockey transfer portal opened Monday.
Earlier this year, the NCAA Division I Men’s Ice Hockey Oversight Committee approved changes to transfer notification rules, moving the opening of the portal to the Monday after the Frozen Four.
USCHO, with data courtesy of Gopher Puck Live, now has a searchable and sortable tracker that’s updated each time a player enters the transfer portal.
Undergraduate men’s hockey athletes can enter the transfer portal during the 15-day window. Other rules and windows apply for graduate transfers, coaching changes, or as in the case of Mercyhurst, the cancellation of a program.
