
Hobart will go for a four-peat as one of 14 teams in this year’s NCAA D-III men’s hockey tournament field.
Hobart — which boasts a 34-game win streak — was an automatic qualifier as champions of the State University of New York Athletic Conference and received a first-round bye, along with Conference of New England champion Endicott (Mass.).

The other conference champs to receive automatic bids were as follows — Little East Conference: Norwich (Vt.); Massachusetts State Collegiate Athletic Conference: Anna Maria; Middle Atlantic Conference : Neumann (Pa.); Minnesota Intercollegiate Athletic Conference: Saint John’s; New England Small College Athletic Conference: Williams (Mass.); Northern Collegiate Hockey Association: St. Norbert (Wisc.); United Collegiate Hockey Conference : Utica (N.Y.) and Wisconsin Intercollegiate Athletic Conference : Wisconsin-Stout.
Aurora (Ill.), Hamilton (N.Y.), New England (Maine) and Salve Regina (R.I.) enter the field as the four at-large selections.
The opening round will be Saturday with New England at St. Norbert, Williams at Utica, Anna Maria at UW-Stout, Saint John’s at Aurora, Norwich at Salve Regina and Newmann at Hamilton.
