USA Hockey has announced the full staff that will support its 2026 U.S. Olympic women’s hockey Team in Milan during the 2026 Olympic Winter Games.
“We’ve extremely fortunate to have a terrific staff and I know everyone is fully engaged in supporting our athletes,” said Katie Million (USA Hockey), the team’s general manager, in a statement. “Ultimately, we’ve got one goal and that’s to bring the gold medal back to our country and we look forward to the challenge ahead.”
John Wroblewski (USA Hockey) will serve as head coach of the team for the first time and will be supported by assistant coaches Shari Dickerman (Minnesota State), Brent Hill (Quinnipiac) and Josh Sciba (PWHL’s New York Sirens), along with goaltending coach Alli Altmann (USA Hockey). The U.S. coaching staff has been in place since the 2023 season.
In addition, the staff also includes operations manager Doug Ferry (USA Hockey), video coach Melissa Piacentini (Northeastern), player development consultant Ellen Hughes (USA Hockey), strength and conditioning coach Cal Dietz (Minnesota), team physician Dr. Ally Howe (INTERMED), athletic trainers Katie Homan (USA Hockey) and Stefanie Arndt (Wisconsin), sports dietitians Carrie Aprik (USOPC) and Kaela Colvard (Training HAUS), massage therapist Jennifer Chee (USA Hockey), mental performance consultant Dr. Alex Wulbecker-Smith (Premier Sport Psychology), equipment managers Sis Paulsen (PWHL’s Minnesota Frost) and Jeff Mobley (USA Hockey), and communications manager Melissa Katz (USA Hockey).
The U.S. Olympic women’s hockey team will open Olympic competition in Milan on Feb. 5 against Czechia.
