CCHA suspends St. Thomas’ Sterzer one game for checking from behind penalty Oct. 24 vs. Providence

The CCHA announced Saturday that St. Thomas senior Caige Sterzer has been suspended for one game, stemming from an incident at 3:50 of the first period on Friday, Oct. 24, against Providence.

The on-ice call was a two-minute minor for checking from behind.

The suspension will be served during St. Thomas’ next game, which falls on Oct. 25 against the Friars.

Sterzer will be eligible to return to the Tommies’ lineup on Friday, Oct. 31.
