
With 27 first-place votes, Boston University is the new No. 1 team in the USCHO.com Division I Men’s Poll.
The Terriers move up two spots from last week’s poll.
Western Michigan, with six first-place votes, is down one to No. 2, while Michigan State, which earned five first-place votes, is down one to No. 3, Michigan rises up five spots to No. 4 with eight first-place nods, and Denver remains ranked fifth.

Penn State took home a first-place vote and is down two to No. 6 this week, Maine collected three first-place votes yet falls one to No. 7, North Dakota is up two to No. 8, Boston College jumps up two spots to No. 9, and Quinnipiac falls two spots to No. 10 in this week’s poll.
Providence falls out of the top 10, going from No. 7 to No. 14 this week, while Colorado College enters the poll this week at No. 19.
In addition to the top 20 teams, 18 others received votes this week.
The USCHO.com Division I Men’s Hockey Poll is compiled weekly and consists of 50 voters, including coaches and media professionals from across the country. Media outlets may republish this poll as long as USCHO.com is credited.
