The Big Ten announced Monday that Michigan freshman forward Johnny Beecher has been suspended for one game as a result of an incident that occurred in the game against Ohio State on Feb. 1.
Near the 2:36 mark of the second period that night, Beecher received a major penalty for head butting and a game misconduct.
Beecher is ineligible to play in Michigan’s next game against Wisconsin on Feb. 7.
