Big Ten suspends Michigan’s Luce one game for hitting from behind against Clarkson

The Big Ten announced Monday that Michigan senior defenseman Griffin Luce has been suspended for one game as a result of an incident that occurred in the game against Clarkson on Oct. 12.

The action was taken by the conference after a review of an incident that occurred near the 15:14 mark of the third period and resulted in Luce receiving a major penalty for hitting from behind and a game misconduct.

Luce is ineligible to play in Michigan’s next game on Oct. 18 against Lake Superior State.
