All three third and deciding games played on Sunday were won in different ways, but all three were won by the home team favorites.

Penn State needed overtime to advance past Wisconsin in the Big Ten. Liam Folkes scored the game-winning goal at 10:50 of the overtime period.

Niagara fought off a pesky 11th-seeded Canisius with a 2-1 victory in Atlantic Hockey. All three goals came in the game’s middle period, with Logan Gestro scoring the game-winning tally.

Dartmouth had the easiest ride in the ECAC, routing 12th-seeded St. Lawrence, 8-0. Will Graber scored twice for the Big Green and Alex Jasiek and Quin Foreman each posted four-point nights. Adrian Clark stopped 22 shots for the shutout.
