Nicole and I both did pretty well last week, but I did pick up another game on her in our picks race, as I was 22-7 (.758) and she was 21-8 (.724). On the year, I am now 212-85-32 (.693), while Nicole is 199-98-32 (.653).

Union at Brown
Candace: Two teams occupying the struggle bus. I’ll go with home ice. Brown 3-2
Nicole: Brown wins. Brown 3-2
Harvard at No. 6 Clarkson
Candace: I have to think Clarkson is gearing up for a run. Clarkson 4-1
Nicole: I’ll pick Clarkson to win. Clarkson 2-1
Dartmouth at St. Lawrence
Candace: I think St. Lawrence will push for the fifth seed in the ECAC tournament. St. Lawrence 4-2
Nicole: This should be a win for the Saints. St. Lawrence 4-2
Rensselaer at Yale
Candace: One of the toughest games to pick. Rensselaer 2-1
Nicole: I’ll take RPI to beat the Elis. Rensselaer 3-1

Lindenwood at Mercyhurst
Candace: Home ice equals a sweep. Mercyhurst 2-1, 3-2
Nicole: I expect Mercyhurst to sweep. Mercyhurst 3-0, 4-1
Penn State at Syracuse
Candace: I think this is a split. Syracuse 3-2. Penn State 3-2
Nicole: I think this will be a split. I’ll take Syracuse in game one. Syracuse 3-2, Penn State 3-1
RIT at Robert Morris
Candace: I’m going with a home ice sweep. Robert Morris 2-1, 2-1

No. 6 Cornell versus No. 8 Colgate (home-and-home)
Candace: This is the hardest series to pick on the weekend. I think it’s the home team in each. Colgate 3-2, Cornell 3-2
Nicole: This is a toss-up for me, so I’ll hedge and say a split with each winning on the road. Cornell 4-3, Colgate 2-1
Providence versus No. 9 Boston College (home-and-home)
Candace: BC will be amped for some revenge. Boston College 4-2, 4-2
Nicole: It wasn’t a great weekend for Providence but I think they bounce back with at least one win here. I’ll take BC in game one. Boston College 4-2, Providence 3-2
Connecticut at Maine
Candace: These two are very close in skill. Not sure how to pick it. Orono is a hike though. Maine 3-2, 3-2
Nicole: These two are fairly similar, so I think they split. Connecticut 3-1, Maine 4-1
Vermont at No. 3 Northeastern
Candace: The Huskies will sweep. Northeastern 4-1, 4-1

Merrimack versus No. 10 Boston University (home-and-home)
Candace: I’ve been pretty high on the Terriers the last month, voting them in my poll. Boston University 3-2, 3-1

No. 2 Minnesota at No. 7 Ohio State
Candace: I’m still thinking the Gophers are about to turn on the air of invincibility. Minnesota 3-2, 3-1

St. Cloud State at No. 1 Wisconsin
Candace: The Badgers will sweep to keep ahead of the Gophers. Wisconsin 3-2, 3-1

Candace: We picked a nonexistent game between these two last week. Not sure how to pick it now. Bemidji State 2-1, Minnesota State 2-1

Penn State at No. 4 Princeton
Candace: The Tigers haven’t played in a bit, but I think they roll. Princeton 4-1

Candace: I don’t think the Big Red will be drained enough from the emotional series against Colgate for Syracuse to take advantage. Cornell 3-1
