Hockey East suspends New Hampshire’s Gildon one game for cross checking penalty against UMass

Hockey East announced Monday that New Hampshire sophomore defenseman Max Gildon has been suspended for one game stemming from an incident at 12:24 of the third period on Sunday, Nov. 18 at Massachusetts.

On the play, Gildon was assessed a five-minute major for cross checking and a game misconduct.

Gildon will miss the game on Friday, Nov. 23 against Miami and will be eligible to return to the Wildcats’ lineup on Saturday, Nov. 24 against the RedHawks.
