No. 17 Bowling Green 1, No.19 Northern Michigan 0

After going more than 40 minutes without a goal from either side, Bowling Green broke the scoreless deadlock as the Falcons won, 1-0, to send this WCHA semifinal to a decisive Game 3.

Bowling Green’s eventual game-winner came from freshman forward Connor Ford, who scored on a power play from a long shot. The Falcons were able to keep Northern Michigan from getting the equalizer thanks to goaltender Ryan Bednard, who picked up his third shutout of the season while making 22 saves.

These two teams will meet again on Sunday with a spot in the WCHA championship game on the line. Puck drop is set for 7:07 p.m. ET at Berry Events Center in Marquette, Michigan.
