BEMIDJI, Minn. — Despite putting on heavy pressure and almost forcing overtime, Michigan Tech’s three-goal third period proved to be too large a deficit for Bemidji St. With this win, the Huskies will move on to the WCHA semi-finals next weekend. Scoring started with Reinke and Lucchini both putting up goals and gave the Huskies a two-goal lead. Fitzgerald would record the lone goal in the second to cut the deficit to one, but the Huskies struck back and held on to the win despite 2 beaver goals coming in the final two minutes of the game. Husky goaltender Devin Kero ended the night with 33 saves in the win.
