At Conte Forum in Chestnut Hill, Mass., Joseph Woll clinched the Hockey East top-seeded Eagles’ fourth straight win to end the regular season with 24 saves, while David Cotton and Christopher Brown each tallied goals. BC earned the league’s top spot by three points over Northeastern following its weekend sweep of the Black Bears. Cotton opened the scoring at 11:50 of the first, while Brown’s power-play marker at 5:16 of the second turned out to be the game-winner. BC has now scored on the power play in 11 of its last 13 games. Rob Michel scored a man-up marker for Maine with 1:14 left in the middle frame. Jeremy Swayman made 28 stops in Maine’s net, falling to 13-10-3 on the season.
