Colorado College and Omaha battled it out to a tie at the Baxter Arena before a crowd of 6,988. Both teams could not manage to score on the power play as the Tigers went 0-for-6 and Omaha went 0-for-4. Nick Halloran scored unassisted at 13:47 of the third period to even the score for CC and send it to overtime. Halloran’s goal came on the back end of two consecutive goals for Omaha. Tristan Keck, who scored on Friday, made it 2-1 for Omaha at 18:53 of the second while short-handed. Keck’s goal was also unassisted. Omaha tied the game 1-1 earlier in the period on Steven Spinner’s tally at 11:44. CC’s Tanner Ockey opened the scoring at 18:14 of the first period, assisted by Christiano Versich and Ben Israel. Alec Calvaruso made 34 saves and Evan Weninger made 23 for Omaha to maintain the official draw. Mason Bergh scored for CC in the three-on-three overtime for the extra point, moving the Tigers into a three-way tie for fifth place in the NCHC with Omaha and Western Michigan.
