PROVIDENCE, R. I. — The Bears exploded for a season-high six goals to snap an eight-game winless streak Friday night against Harvard.
Brown’s Sam Lafferty had a hat trick and also added an assist, while Max Gottlieb had an assist. Luke Kania made 41 saves in goal for the Bears.
Ryan Donato and Ty Pelton-Byce each had a goal and an assist for Harvard. It was Donato’s first game back with the Crimson after leading Team USA with five goals in the Winter Olympics in South Korea.
The win locks Brown into 10th place in the ECAC Hockey standings, while Harvard is two points behind Clarkson for fourth place.
