Boston University extended its undefeated streak to seven games with a 3-2 win over UMass. The Terriers outshot UMass, 39-22, including dominating 12-3 and 18-3 margins in the second and third periods.
Freshman Shane Bowers scored the game-winning goal in the third period and added an assist.
UMass, which has now lost five in a row, travels to New Hampshire on Saturday. Boston University takes on defending champion Harvard in the Beanpot on Monday.
