NEW HAVEN, Conn. – Four second period goals catapulted the Yale Bulldogs to a convincing 5-1 victory over Rensselaer.
Following a scoreless first, Charlie Curti gave the Bulldogs a 1-0 lead 5:05 into the second period. Meirs Moore responded for Rensselaer just 16 seconds later, however to tie the game back up at one.
Dante Palecco gave Yale back the lead on the power play at 6:55 before Luke Stevens doubled the lead to two at 3-1 at 11:49. Joe Snively scored on the shorthand to extended the lead to 4-1 at 18:28. Kevin O’Neil sealed the deal for Bulldogs with a goal 1:51 into the third.
