CANTON, N.Y. – Ryan Donato’s three points (two goals, assist) and an overtime goal by Jack Badini allowed Harvard to grind out a big two points at Appleton Arena on Saturday night.
Lewis Zerter-Gossage gave the Crimson a 3-1 lead on the power play 4:39 into the third period, but St. Lawrence responded with goals by Mike Marnell on the short-hand at 5:57 and Carson Gicewicz with 38 seconds to play with the goaltender, forcing overtime.
At 1:16 of the overtime, Badini fired home a goal off of a pass by Nathan Krusko to give the Crimson the thrilling victory.
