Brendan Riley scored the game-winner just two minutes into the third period to give the Lakers a sweep of the Purple Eagles. Riley earlier scored midway through the second period to give Mercyhurst a 2-2 tie after Niagara’s Nick Farmer gave the Purple Eagles a 2-1 lead. Justin Kendall gave Niagara a 1-0 lead midway through the first period before Mercyhurst’s Jack Riley tied it at two just over three minutes later.
