Michigan completed the sweep of Minnesota on the road behind 17 saves from Hayden Lavigne. Two first-period goals from Brendan Warren and Josh Norris propelled the Wolverines to an early lead that they would never concede. Minnesota closed within one following a power-play goal from Darian Romanko; however, Michigan’s Cooper Marody answered right back with a power-play goal of his own just two minutes later.
