PRINCETON, N.J. — After a Ryan Kuffner power-play goal at 7:57 of the third period put Princeton up 3-1 and looking at an upset of the top-ranked Huskies, St. Cloud managed to rally and earn the tie behind two power-play goals.
Blake Winiecki scored on a four-on-three at 11:40 on an assist from Jimmy Schuldt. Schuldt then tied it with a four-on-three power-play goal at 18:21.
Princeton’s Ryan Ferland made 37 saves in the tie, including an astounding 14 in the five-minute overtime as the Huskies desperately tried for the win.
