BEMIDJI, Minn. — The Bemidji State Beavers ran their record to 8-6-5 with a 3-1 victory over the Alabama-Huntsville Chargers on Friday night. The Beavers were led by Adam Brady who managed to score his fourth and fifth goals of the season. Brady’s first tally opened the scoring at 6:04 of the first period and his second goal closed out the score sheet at 19:36 when he pushed home an empty net goal.
Josh Kestner lit the lamp with a second period power play tally to knot the score at one until Zach Whitecloud’s goal with just under five minutes remaining in the second period gave Bemidji State the lead for good. Michael Bitzer stopped 18 shots in the win for the Beavers while Jordan Uhelski turned aside 39 shots in the loss.
