Weekend wrap: Nov. 19

No. 2 Boston College vs. Connecticut
Erin Connolly, Caitrin Lonergan, and Daryl Watts each scored for the Eagles in their 3-0 win on Friday. Saturday, the Huskies took a lead early in the third period on   a goal by Natalie Snodgrass, but Watts tied the score, and it ended in a draw.

No. 3 Colgate at Yale
Breanne Wilson-Bennet scored twice and Annika Zalewski contributed a goal and an assist for Colgate as they won 5-1 on Friday.

No. 3 Colgate at Brown
Megan Sullivan led the Raiders with two goals in the 5-3 win. Samantha Swanstrom scored twice for Brown.

Quinnipiac at No. 4 Clarkson
Kenzie Lancaster gave the Bobcats a 1-0 lead after the first in a four-on-four situation. Michaela Pejzlová tied it for Clarkson in the second. Kristy Pidgeon put the Golden Knights ahead about halfway through the final frame before Lancaster tied it up with 2:50 to on a power play. Melissa Samoskevich scored her third straight game-winning goal just :25 into OT to give Quinnipiac the 3-2 win.

Princeton at No. 4 Clarkson
Rhyen McGill, Michael Pejzlová, Meaghan Hector, and Taylor Turnquist led Clarkson to a 4-0 win. Shea Tiley made 29 saves in the shutout. Last week, Tiley set the school record for career shutouts and with this win set a new program record with her 91st win.

No. 5 Ohio State at Bemidji State
Tatum Skaggs put Ohio State on the board first, but Paige Beebe and Sylvia Marolt had Bemidji State up 2-1 after the first period. In the second, Liz Schepers tied it up for the Buckeyes before a shortie from Haley Mack put the Beavers up again. Julianna Iafallo tied it up for OSU and the game ended in a 3-3 tie. Bemidji State won the shootout and the extra conference point.

St. Cloud State at No. 6 Minnesota
Alex Woken scored twice and Nicole Schammel scored once to give Minnesota a 3-0 lead in the first and that would be all they needed. The Gophers won 3-0 on Friday.

Princeton at No. 7 St. Lawrence
Karlie Lund had two goals and an assist for Princeton while Rachael Smith, Kennedy Marchment, Hannah Miller, and Justine Reyes each had a goal and an assist for St. Lawrence in this 4-4 tie.

Quinnipiac at No. 7 St. Lawrence
Kayla Nielsen and Justine Reyes each had a goal and an assist for St. Lawrence in their 4-2 win. Melissa Samoskevich scored both goals for Quinnipiac, but they weren’t enough to overcome the Saints.

No. 8 Cornell at Brown
This one was all Big Red as they rolled to a 5-1 win. Kristin O’Neill had three assists for Cornell. Sena Hanson was the lone scorer for Brown.

No. 8 Cornell at Yale
Kristin O’Neill, Diana Buckley, and Madlynne Mills gave Cornell a 3-0 win over Yale.

Merrimack vs No. 10 Providence
Cassidy MacPherson, Madison Sansone, Maureen Murphy, and Kate Friesen each scored for Providence on Friday night en route to a 4-1 win. Megan Fergusson was the goal scorer for Merrimack.

Weekend wrap: Nov. 19

St. Scholastica at No. 4 Adrian
On Friday, the scoring was held to the final frame. Jacqueline White scored for Adrian, and Taylor Thompson scored for St. Scholastica in the 1-1 tie. Adrian asserted its top-five status on Saturday with an 11-goal outburst. Ten different Bulldogs scored, led by Brooke Lupi with two goals and an assist.

No. 10 Wisconsin Eau Claire at No. 5 Wisconsin River Falls
Elizabeth Bauer had Wis.- Claire up 1-0 after the first, but from there it was all Wis.-River Falls in their 4-1 win. Carly Moran scored twice, and Haley Nielsen had two assists in the win.

No. 7 Gustavus Adolphus vs. Hamline
Hamline was in full control on Friday; Jordan Hansen scored the first two goals and Madison Gaffney, Bre Simon, and Madison Kolbow gave them a 5-0 lead before Kristen Cash and Erin Moes narrowed the game for the Gusties. Hamline won 5-2. On Saturday, it was Gustavus Adolphus that took over from the get-go. Erica Power, Moes, Diana Draayer, and Amelia Vosen put the Gusties ahead. Sarah Bobrowski scored twice for Hamline in the 4-2 loss.

No. 8 Amherst at No. 10 Connecticut College
Kate Kohl put Connecticut College up 1-0 in the first, and that would stand for the next 30 minutes. Miriam Eickhoff and Katelyn Pantera each scored to put Amherst ahead in the third, but Erin Dillon and Kylie Wilkes answered for Connecticut College to get them the 3-2 win. On Saturday, Amherst outshot their opponents 34-21, but goals from Elena Gualtieri and Jordan Cross earned the win for Connecticut College and the weekend sweep.

No. 9 St. Thomas vs St. Catherine
Isabel Bianchi put St. Thomas on the board first, but St. Catherine’s Ashlyn Rakos responded less than two minutes later. Allison Borgstrom scored in the second to get the Tommies the 2-1 win on Friday. On Saturday, St. Thomas outshot St. Catherine 44-16, and a goal from Rylie McDonell was enough to earn the Tommies a 1-0 win and the weekend sweep.

Neumann at Utica
Jordyn Cholish put Neumann on the board in the first, and Lauren Vanstone doubled the lead in the second for Neumann. Jennifer Arts got Utica in the game in the third, but a goal from Bek Lucas solidified Neumann’s 3-1 win on Friday. In the second game, Danielle Haasbeek and Taylor Osowski put Utica up in the first and that would prove to be enough. Lucas tallied Neumann’s only goal, and Olivia Hirschy scored twice for Utica en route to their 4-1 win.
