ANCHORAGE, Alaska — Robby Jackson scored twice, and No. 17 St. Cloud State won the Kendall Hockey Classic with a 6-2 win over Alaska-Anchorage on Saturday.
The Huskies (2-0) won both games at the season-opening tournament; they beat Alaska 3-0 on Friday.
Jackson put St. Cloud State ahead 1-0 and, after a Joey Benik goal, 3-0 in the first period. Jimmy Murray, David Morley and Judd Peterson scored in the third for the Huskies.
Morley, who had a goal and two assists in the two games, was named the tournament’s MVP.
Tad Kozun and Matt Anholt scored second-period goals for the Seawolves (1-1).
